Amish Ascension Day 2025. It's a movable holiday, dependent on the date of easter amish mark many of the same religious and secular holidays. In the middle of the spring season, there is a day when much of the amish world will stop, take a breath, and remember their deep connection to the traditional christian world and faith.

In place of these holidays, amish are exempt from working on ascension day, pentecost monday, and fall fast day. Today is ascension day, commemorating jesus’ physical ascension into heaven.
